Food Intolerance testing

Food intolerance begins when the digestive system is no longer able to process particular foods as they pass down the digestive tract. The end result is a build up intestinal toxins. These toxins then are carried throughout the body where they cause inflammation. The aim of food intolerance testing is to find the foods which cause this toxic state.

Food Intolerance affects a great number of people. The symptoms of food intolerance rarely occur immediatley as with an allergy. More often the cheese you ate yesterday will manifest in that sinus pain or migraine you suffer from and you may not make the direct connection.  It is this delayed reaction that makes it difficult to identify the culprit foods. I myself have benefited greatly from Intolerance testing . I suffer from severe migraines from a young age and also had reoccuring sinus problems. After elimating the trigger foods from my diet I was migraine free and  free from sinus pain for nearly a year. Although I do fall off the wagon every now and then as we all do! Several clients have experienced weightloss and credit the test with giving them the energy they need to kick start a healthier lifestyle. An intolerance may lead to less efficient absorbtion of nutrients.

The Fitzwilliam food test is the intolerance test I use in Proactive Nutrition. Find more information on www.fitzwilliamfoodtest.com

Food intolerance testing is a simple blood test which measures IgG antibody levels associated with specific foods. There is a significant amount of published data supporting an association between elevated IgG antibodies and the conditions listed above.
